Glamping on the edge
Overlooking the Gulf of St. Lawrence, Archer's Edge is a serene location for 5x Glamping 30 domes. West facing windows provide a picturesque view of the sunset over the vast sea. Cape Breton offers a virgin beauty, unspoiled by a man.
Normally when I stay at an accommodation, it's really a place to just drop my stuff and head. When we checked in, I knew I wasn't going to treat our cozy dome this way. An easy, COVID friendly check in, a warm dome with a beautiful view, plenty of coffee and I was hooked. I didn't want to leave for the rest of the evening. Archer's Edge is the kind of place you turn to as an escape from the world, wrapped up in a clean, modern, amenity- filled package. There aren't many places that I feel would cater to both the young and old, but this definitely does. There is a heater, shower bathroom, and fridge/sink area. Just bring yourself some great food, merry beverage, and lock away from the world.
So happy we got to stay here! Beautiful domes and even more beautiful views! Very clean and decorated cozy chic. Isolated away from the highway and city for the most amazing star gazing. Owner is very friendly and accommodating. We would love to stay here again!
Can't say enough about this place... the pictures are real! We had a big storm roll in one night and the thunder and lightning over the water was spectacular! The domes were much nicer than we expected... all the comfort of a high end hotel room with views over the water that can't be beat. Hot water with strong pressure, air conditioning, kitchenette, amazingly comfortable bed, even some basic storage.
