Our History

It all started in 2006 with an idea, courage and passion. Freedomes was then a small company with big dreams. Through the years the brave ideas changed into plans that have been completed, one after another. Soon Freedomes become the largest spherical structures supplier in the world, cooperating with the biggest names in business. After years of gaining experience in event domes industry and carefully analysing the dome market we decided to offer our Clients self-assembly structures. This is how the idea of glamping started.

2019

30th anniversary of the Fall of the Wall, Berlin

Freedome300 was assembled as a part of an art Instllation in front of the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin.

2018

Bayer CSR Events, Leverkusen / Dormagen / Krefeld

Freedomes delivered 18 spherical structures for set of events organised by Bayer in three different locations on the same day.

Vodafone at Goodwood Speed Festival, UK

In 2018, Vodafone Drone Set Guinness World Record at Goodwood Festival of Speed and Freedomes. Matching perfectly the name of the festival Freedomes delivered two structutes, 300 and 75 square meters for this event.

2017

Audi A7 Sportback World Premiere, Ingolstadt, Germany

Audi A7 Sportback world premiere in 2017 was a spectacular event which took place in Ingolstadt. Freedome 500 with a projection liner was assembled especially for this occasion on the roof of the Audi building. The task was not easy as Freedomes Crew was to assemble the dome not only on the roof but also with glass buildings everywhere around.

World Economic Forum, Davos, Switzerland

The World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos-Klosters is the foremost creative force for engaging the world’s top leaders in collaborative activities to shape the global, regional and industry agendas at the beginning of each year. 2017 was a third year in row when Freedomes delivered the spherical structures for the forum.

Cutting Edge Festival 2017, Oslo, Norway

Freedomes 700 structire was delivered for Norway’s largest interdisciplinary business jam session for scientist, technologist, entrepreneurs, investors and policy makers.

HUBweek 2017 in Boston, USA

Science, art & technology met at HUBweek Festival in Boston. Freedomes set up 5 geodomes, including the HyperDome.360 for this occassion.

Lady Gaga on the roof of London’s Westfield shopping centre, England

In December 2016 Freedomes delivered a structure for an intimate surprise gig of Lady Gaga. The dome was installed on the London’s Westfield shopping centre roof.

Nike Retail Domes at U.S. Olympic Trials; Eugene (OR), USA

Freedomes built a network of domes: Freedome 700, 500 and 150, covered with white membranes. The new setup for Nike was designed holistically to guarantee a network of attractive retail venues any fan would like to step in.

Custom Spherical Structures for Ridley Scott’s "The Martian"

Freedomes prepared a set of futuristic structures for the American sci-fi thriller "The Martian" by Ridley Scott.

Wired Next Fest, Milan, Italy

Second year in a row Freedome 500 was chosen for the main hub of event, acting as the auditorium for speeches and panels with the most popular and important guests. Freedomes also delivered a 110m2 Audi Dome (Freedome 110) named after one of the main partners of the event, smaller 3x Freedome 75 with transparent front section and 2x Freedome 50.

Interactive dome for Mexico Tourism Board, London / Berlin / Paris

To celebrate the official year of Mexico, Mexico Tourism Board teamed up with Freedomes, LM Productions and MAPP3D, to prepare an interactive showcase. Freedome 500 was equipped in the biggest projection screen ever made for a mobile dome. Immersive 360 degree spherical projection took guests on tour of the country’s 32 states, including archeological sites, bustling cities and world heritage sites, natural zones, and magical towns.

European launch of Ford Mustang, Rottach-Egern, GermanyEuropean launch of Ford Mustang, Rottach-Egern, Germany

Freedomes set up two structures for European launch of Ford Mustang: Freedome 700 with its 3-layered blackout membrane which did not let any light to enter the structure, allowing high quality projection inside and Freedome 300 with front transparent section, where the guests could grab a drink and enjoy their time. The occassion was really special as for the first time in its 50 year history, legendary Mustang was officially imported to Europe and sold in Ford dealerships

Google for Education – Dome Roadshow across Europe

With short intervals and large distances between 7 different events in the UK and subsequent events in Sweden (2), Denmark and the Netherlands, Google for Education Roadshow was another example that Freedome110 combined with professional services of Freedomes assembly crew was a top choice for roadshow organizers.

Magical dome tents for Nespresso, Vienna, Austria

Freedomes prepared a venue for an annual meeting of Nespresso employees, consisting of following dome tents: Freedome 150 offering 154m2 of floor space, Freedome 300 the most popular event dome amongst our customers offering an impressive 283m2 of floor space, and our biggest structure the Freedome 700 offering a breathtaking 706m2 of floor space, all covered with an OPAK membrane, interconnected with tunnels.

Sonos experience in a geodesic dome on Place de La Défense, Paris, France

Sonos is a manufacturer of innovative speaker systems, established in 2002 with a clear goal to reinvent home audio for the digital age. Sonos teamed up with Freedomes to promote their line of products in La Défense, Paris – the most contemporary district of cultural capital of the world.

Fairy tale wedding with a private Jon Bon Jovi gig, Texas,US

Together with Todd Events Freedomes prepared a uniquely looking 700m2 dome for wedding taking place on a private property in Fort Worth, Texas.

Projection dome for Martha Stewart and Dom Pérignon, East Hampton, N.Y., USA

Freedomes was asked to help in preparation of a unique house garden party in backyard of Martha Stewart’s house on Lily Pond Lane in affluent East Hampton, N.Y. Theme of the event: celebration of 1998 harvest of Dom Pérignon.

MTV2 Party in the Park @ Comic-Con 2013, San Diego, USA

Domes of sizes 30, 50, 75 and 110 square meters were mounted on the grassy ground with 1-meter long anchors that provide stability without the need for additional ballast. For a special visual effect, all structures have been equipped with additional hanging lights, attached to the structural frame of the domes.

Art Gala at Rachofsky House, Dallas, TX, USA

TWO x TWO for AIDS is a contemporary art auction benefiting American Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR) and the Dallas Museum of Art. The gala was organized at the residence of American philanthropists, Cindy and Howard Rachofsky in Dallas, Texas. The auction, banquet and the accompanying artistic performances were held in our geodesic dome tent Freedome700

SONY at the UEFA Champion’s League Final 2012, Munich, Germany

Thousands of football fans visited our event domes - Freedome 150 and Freedome 30 - where they could get their hands on the latest technologies offered by SONY and get a chance to experience everything they had to offer first hand.

Renault Z.E. Tour, Europe

The Renault Z.E. Tour was a Road Show type of event allowing consumers to test drive its brand new Z.E. (which stands for "zero emissions") range of electric cars. The project itself involved weekend test drive events throughout the UK including Leicester, Norwich, Bournemouth, Leeds, Glasgow and Bristol with a total number of sixteen locations. The set of events featured a Freedome 75 dome with a transparent front and a branded membrane.

Hyundai Fan Parks EURO 2012, Roadshow across Europe

European Football Championship (EURO 2012) took place in Poland but Hyundai decided to set up Fan Parks in major capitals of Europe. Freedomes structures where in Madrid next to the Santiago Bernabeu stadium (home to Ream Madrid), at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow, in the heart of Prague’s Old Town, right underneath the Eiffel Tower in Paris and blocking the famous Straße des 17. Juni in Berlin.

Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour, Vienna, Austria

The Freedome 700 event dome was set up right in the middle of the charming Vienna’s old-town, especially for the final of the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck Tour.

30th International Book Fair, Dubai, United Arab Emirates

One of the biggest event domes in the Freedomes Classic range came to the United Arab Emirates, helping to celebrate the grand opening of the 30th International Book Fair in Sharjah.

LG London Freeze, London, UK

Freedomes spherical structure of an area of 75m2 bravely withstood the whims of London weather and perfectly fulfilled its role as the Life is Good Hub. It was situated on an elevated platform and rose above the participants’ heads, and could not be left unnoticed.

2008

Wroclaw Non-Stop, Wroclaw, Poland

The Freedome 300 dome tent, with the flooring area exceeding 300m2, was erected especially for this occasion. The spherical structure held a club that played the role of the reception.
