No matter the weather… life is always better at the beach! White Point offers an abundance of recreational activities for each of the four seasons. Our beach is a great place to be in the middle of the summer, but sitting by one of the big, beach stone fireplaces with a hot drink in hand is a great place to be on a snowy winter’s day as well!
About our beach! As the seasons change, the sands and beach here at White Point change too – very dramatically! From mid-May to September, we celebrate the replenished soft, white sandy beach that we are famous for. 1km length of pristine and naturally stunning white sand beach. Now – in the winter, it’s a totally different beach. The hurricanes that come up our coast have strong currents that slowly but shortly over the course of winter remove our white sand, depositing small rocks along our shore. But every April, a fresh coat of white sand returns just in time for the warmer months – all thanks to Mother Nature!

White Point was an amazing place to visit in winter and the Glomes are just fantastic. We can't wait to come back! We just spent 3 magical nights in a 'Glome', yet another reason to love the White Point experience! Fully equipped with a propane fireplace, kitchen, bbq and comfy bed, nothing can beat soaking in the hot tub on the deck with the snow falling. It was a perfect get away with wonderful meals, live music and the outstanding staff who go 'above and beyond'.
Great Glome Experience We stayed in a Lakeside Glome for 2 nights in October. The whole resort gives a friendly and safe resort town vibe from a few decades ago. Our accommodation was exceptional. The Glome was great, the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked. The bed was huge and comfy, the views were just incredible. Its very private, the Deck was a great space. The hot tub was clean and hot, easy to use.
Nova Scotia Gem First Time at White Point and we absolutely loved it. The roar of the ocean and the wild bunnies.. we were hooked . We love the rustic charm and the relaxed atmosphere. We really enjoyed our meals at Elliots dining room and the staff were very friendly. We liked it so much we now have 4 more reservations. It’s nice to see a mix of accommodations, there truly is something for everyone. Can’t wait to be back the end of the month..
